The Story
This NZ Fantail Bird Iron On Patch is so pretty, especially with the array of flowers resting on its back.
The Fantail, piwakawaka, is a lovely little bird that flits around the New Zealand native bush, as well as our home gardens, catching insects on the fly. It has a lovely little chirp.
The iron on badge measures approximately 7cm x 6.5cm (2 3/4" x 2 1/2"). It is washable and colourfast, and all ready to iron onto your jeans, jackets, caps, sweaters, t-shirts, bags and backpacks. It is made from polyester/rayon.
Instructions:
- Pre-heat your hand iron to 190-200C, using the cotton setting with no steam.
- Pre-warm the area of fabric where the patch is going to be set.
- Place the patch with the back side against the warmed fabric, and then cover with a piece of light cotton material, to protect the iron and the patch.
- Iron for 40 secs, then flip the garment over and iron the fabric behind the patch for another 40 secs.
