The design has a delicately detailed NZ tree fern, and the unfurling fern shoot (Koru) alongside.
Due to the high cost of sterling silver, the ring is now (Feb 2026) made from stainless steel with a sterling silver coating. The process of coating is called PVD, and it is far more durable than silver plating.
The other advantages of a sterling silver coating on stainless steel is that the ring is waterproof, tarnish resistant, and hypoallergenic.
And it looks every bit as good!
