Ultrafine Merino wool is very warm and soft, and not itchy. Possum fur is warmer than wool due to the hollow core of the fur, trapping air inside the fibre. It also doesn't cause an itch. Silk also has a hollow fibre, trapping warm air. The mix gives strength, softness and incredible warmth.
