Maori Taiaha With Greenstone Tongue on Stand

This beautiful Maori Taiaha with Greenstone Tongue on Stand would make a fabulous birthday gift, or a trophy, as well as a business or corporate gift. Great for 21sts as well as a leaving gift or gift to send to business partners overseas.

The stand can also be engraved to mark the occasion.

If you want engraving, we recommend having the stand engraved with a gold plaque.

The timber used in the taiaha and matching stand is sustainably harvested Tulip Wood.  Tulip wood is a very strong hardwood but surprisingly light as well.

The greenstone is New Zealand pounamu from Hokitika.

The taiaha measures approximately 75.5cm (29 3/4") long, and the stand measures approximately 77cm x 9cm x 3cm (30 3/8" x 3 1/2" x 1 1/4").

ENGRAVING: Enter the words you would like engraved onto the plaque, or laser engraved into the front of stand, in the engraving box that pops up when you select an engraved option.  Up to 8 words allowed on a plaque, or laser engraved, or 18 characters paua engraved into the stand. 
We can also paua engrave a "21" or "30" or "50" into the end of the taiaha to mark a special birthday.  Choose the "paua number" engraved option.  If you choose this option, remember to enter the number you want.
Please note that once engraved, the piece cannot be returned, aside from the unlikely event of us getting the engraving wording wrong.  Allow 3-4 days for engraving to be done.
